Volunteers Week takes place every year in June. It's a chance to recognise a volunteers contribution to support their community within Torfaen and a chance to say thank you for their support.
This year, Volunteers’ Week will be celebrating 40 years which means charities, voluntary groups, social organisations, and volunteers themselves will come together to recognise the incredible impact that volunteering has in communities around the UK and inTorfaen.

Our most recent Volunteering Management Network Forum was held on March 12th at Mount Pleasant Hall, Cwmbran. We were joined by Volunteering Leads from Community Groups and Organisations from across Torfaen.

The forum is led by the Volunteering Team at TVA and we meet 3 – 4 times per year to support Volunteer leads and co-ordinators. The aim of the forum is to find out how we can best support organisations who work with Volunteers and to ensure individuals looking to Volunteer in Torfaen get the best opportunities.
Torfaen Voluntary Alliances' ViP provides volunteers the opportunity to enhance and develop their skills and knowledge by accessing basic training modules which can progress to further training, volunteer opportunities and employment.
